From the Director’s Desk
QUEST College began operations in 1999 commencing with only twelve students and two trainers. Our first classroom was the hired staff room of the local primary school. Today we are in full operation from our modern office in Maroochydore. We have grown from twelve students to fifty with between eight and ten part time trainers and two office staff. We now have an International Department and a Business Department.
More importantly we have, over the short time we have been in operation, seen our graduates obtain employment on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. These graduates are working in wide and varied occupations within the welfare sector. They have found employment in church based organisations, woman’s refuges, youth services, housing organisations, mental health organisations and many others too numerous to mention. Several have gone on to further study at Universities and several others have set themselves up in private practice.
In society today there is an ever-growing need to find ways to cope with the pressures of modern living. More and more people are seeking help from trained professionals to deal with individual and family problems. The demand for trained people to meet this need is increasing daily.
We are pleased to be contributing to society by offering quality training to individuals who in their turn are able to take their place in the workforce. Every day, directly or indirectly, QUEST College is inspiring and motivating people to reach their highest potential and become equipped, as qualified counsellors, to help others deal with the pressures of today.
We welcome new students of all ages, all walks of life and from all countries of the world to join us here at QUEST College for a journey of self-discovery and achievement.
